Race Across London experience3 stages

The Great
Race

Race across London in three stages, hunting down mystery checkpoints with cryptic clues and a live countdown of the metres. Choose your route, gamble your budget, earn it back with challenges. Richest team wins.

The goal

Finish with the most money. Spend it wisely.

Every team starts with £100 of in-game currency and races through three stages of checkpoints. Faster routes cost more; challenges earn money back. It's a constant gamble: burn cash to get ahead, or grind the scenic route and hustle challenges.

All routes converge at the same pub at the end of each stage - so nobody gets left behind, and everyone gets to compare terrible decisions.

How it works

01

Choose your route 🗺️

Each stage starts with a choice - Scenic, Quick or Bolt. More pubs and a longer journey for cheap, or pay big to go direct.

02

Hunt the checkpoint 🕵️

Cryptic clues and a live countdown of the metres lead you to your next mystery checkpoint. Crack the clues, argue about directions, and when you get close - guess the name to claim it.

03

Buy a round, prove it 📸

At each checkpoint pub, every teammate buys one item - pint, coffee, packet of crisps, your call. Team photo, post it in WhatsApp, and your next clue unlocks.

04

Converge & repeat 🔁

Every stage ends at the same meeting-point pub. Regroup, talk tactics (or trash), and wait for the signal to start the next stage.

Good questions

FAQs

Can we personalise the race?

Completely. We build the routes around your patch of London - start outside your office, finish at your favourite pub - and we can write custom challenges about your company, your in-jokes, even your CEO.

What if some of us don't drink?

No problem at all. Soft drinks count at every checkpoint, and the game rewards speed and cunning, not consumption.

How long does it take?

Around 3 hours across the 3 stages, finishing together at a final pub we book for the ceremony (and the excuses).

How many people can play?

15 to 200, split into competing teams of 4-6. Bigger groups just mean more rivals to beat.

What if it rains?

It's London - we plan for it. Routes are pub-dense, stages are short, and frankly a bit of drizzle has never stopped a team that's £40 behind.

Do we need to be fit?

It's a fast walk, not a run (running is literally against the rules in pubs). The Scenic route exists for teams who prefer strolling and scheming.
